DOMINIK NOWAK- AT HOME IN THE WORLD.

My Base.

A great joy for discovering my environment has been with me since the beginning. Growing up in a lovingly supportive and stable family in the Wetterau, I discovered without hesitation my direct environment and the distance. From fellow women and men, I learned how to deal with cultures and how to integrate them into my life and professional work. I am at ease with myself and open to the unknown in the world.

I want to understand. I make use of my knowledge and reasoning – not only to provide valid solutions, but also to make decisions and shape negotiations in a positive manner. The development of common paths and successful strategies are at the heart of my work.

My approach.

“Not the wind but rather the sail determines the course.” We are the ones who can take advantage of our environment, use the currents and changing wind directions surrounding and moving us to our benefit. Our own skills and personality are needed to actively reach our goal. I help people and organizations to sharpen their own resources, define and achieve goals.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND.

In my professional career, I have had the opportunity to gain and pass on strategic and management expertise in various managerial roles: I have advised and led several international companies in China, New Zealand, East Africa and Germany. As managing director, department Manager, project Manager, trainer and consultant, my focus was on the strategic and operational development of companies at home and abroad. In addition to management tasks, I designed trainings and workshops to communicate topics in sales and marketing, in negotiation strategies and decision-making, leadership, conflict management and team-work. In this context, I have brought together employees, customers and other stakeholders in order to advance the company and the people involved in a mutual interest and to share in the success together.
Another focus was on coaching employees and colleagues individually in order to successfully plan and succeed in the rapidly changing environment and under sometimes difficult circumstances. It is important to me to support people in developing their skills and connections and reach that next level of success, no matter where they are at professionally and personally.
